Part of Aswoon®/Susan Woods Studio's philosophy is to create designs, artistic products and spaces, in a way that reduces use of non-renewable resources, minimizes environmental impact, and relates people with the natural environment.

For us, within the fields of industrial interior design, architecture and landscape architecture, "Green Design" is the art of developing ideas and, as a result, physical objects in compliance with the principles of economic, social, and, especially, ecological sustainability.

We consider "Green Design" a means of improving quality of life by using careful assessment and creativity to substitute less harmful materials and processes for conventional ones.

Aswoon®/Susan Woods Studio is environmentally conscious. We reclaim and re-use materials, and continuously search for those which can be recycled and re-integrated into our artistic design lines.
