Idyll Visions by PowerHouse Books: Opening Reception: Tuesday, April 22, 2008, on exhibit until May 11,
included are Thomas Beale’s captivating sculptures made from thousands of individually cut pieces of wood, Joseph E. O’Donoghue’s fascinating perpetual ice sculptures, Susan Woods's sophisticated works made from reclaimed materials, Kevin Racek and Jonathan Racek’s witty and brilliant functional designs made from alternative resources, and Sam Kragiel and Jesse Arnold’s minimalist functional designs made from bamboo and other sustainable materials.

Workshops

In collaboration with a German-American art historian and curator Aswoon®/Susan Woods Studio offers an art and culture workshop: Art from a Cross-cultural Perspective - the New York Art Scene and Trends in contemporary DesignArt.

This one-day workshop will take place in our gallery/showroom - usually on Saturdays. It includes visits to the Brooklyn Navy Yard as well as artist and designer studios. Please inquire about the program via email or phone.
